What an amazing home on Isla. The property sits on the water with beautiful ocean views. Several bedrooms and the front room have stunning views. The beach is across the street and is perfect for a walk. Bruichladdich Distillery is a four-minute walk away, and Port Charlotte Hotel is a short drive for dinner. Claire was easy to communicate with and provided great instructions and recommendations. We loved our stay and would return!

Steps from the local distillery and a view to die for. Well equipped kitchen and comfy sofas. Was a great base for our Feis Ile trip!

Houses that cater for and meet or even exceed the expectations for all on a multi generational trip are quite hard to find but this house did that perfectly. The kids were happy, lots of games, great garden and opposite the beach, the adults were happy, comfortable beds, plenty of space and close to distilleries!! The house was fully equipped, there was nothing we needed that we couldn’t find! Claire’s communication and thoughtfulness were very much appreciated.

Our family had the most lovely stay! The cottage has lots of room and beautiful views on all sides. The village was wonderful. Walking distance from the distillery, a local art market in the village hall one day, walking the beach, exploring the island and breakfast at the local mini mart were all highlights!

Fabulous location. Really easy to get to everywhere. Claire was amazing when we had a blocked shower. It was fixed in half an hour, the fastest response I’ve ever had. Her recommendations were great. Bacon rolls at the mini mart and birthday dinner for my sister at the Lochside in Bowmore were spot on with amazing views. We also enjoyed sitting at the house window bird spotting the birds on the beach and watching a seal go past.

A great place to stay on Islay. Did well for our double family group for Hogmanay! The highlight is the view out of the front of Loch Indaal. Beautiful sunrises.

This is a great house for exploring Islay. We have stayed twice now, once with extended family, once with another family with small children. Plenty of space for a large group and lovely location next to a small beach. Great views out of the picture windows. Very comfortable and well appointed- I would say it’s even nicer than the pictures give credit for!

This is our second time at Claire’s place, and it was every bit as wonderful as the first. This is the perfect place to stay in Islay and offers a convenient location, beautiful scenery, and a well-maintained property perfect for a family vacation. Everything is spotless, and Claire is a very responsive and friendly host. In short, we loved it and would most highly recommend.

Nice house, beautiful view, good location close to the little market and the distillery. The main living room has a stunning view on the water, cute garden, and the house was convenient and easy to use, with everything we needed. It was a perfect family stay and communication with the host was great, with all the informations needed. Thank you again!
